Paha Designs transforms dreams into commercialized inventions.
About Paha Designs
Paha Designs is a design and invention company founded by Benjamin M. Meager, an innovative entrepreneur with a track record of patenting ideas and bringing those innovations to market. Based in Idaho, and utilizing its own funds, Paha has assembled a diversified team across the Rocky Mountain West to design, patent, prototype and commercialize innovations. Confidential or classified innovations to date span business sectors from outdoor equipment to computer technology, energy generation to military advancements, mobility improvements to fire safety. With over 200 protected inventions in 8 countries, Paha Designs commercializes it’s innovations by selling or licensing it’s intellectual property estates to entities capable of achieving broad market success.
An initial highly successful venture is one of Mr. Meager’s inventions of a waterproof-gasproof zipper system. Following a diligent IP process, Paha sold rights to a multi-billion dollar Fortune 100 Best Company to Work For enterprise. The acquiring firm is now moving forward with manufacture, marketing and distribution of numerous and fascinating applications of the patented closure system.
Another Paha patented innovation emerging into a commercialized state is a bicycle transmission system, InGear, which promises to transform the gear system of road and mountain bikes. Numerous InGear advantages to current bicycle transmission systems include significantly reduced weight, on time-every time shifting and precision accuracy with no tuning required. Both mechanical and electronic variations will soon be available.
